Anti-Money Laundering & KYC Policy

Home / AML Policy

Last updated: 1 January 2026

Wazbii Entertainment N.V. ("Wazbii") is committed to preventing money laundering and the financing of illegal activity. This policy summarises the controls a licensed operator applies and the obligations of our customers.

1. Purpose

Money laundering is the process of disguising the origins of funds obtained through criminal activity so that they appear legitimate. Wazbii operates a risk-based programme designed to detect, prevent and report such activity in line with applicable anti-money-laundering (AML) and counter-terrorist-financing (CTF) laws.

2. Know Your Customer (KYC)

Before processing significant transactions, and at other points based on risk, we verify the identity of every customer. You may be asked to provide:

  • Proof of identity — a valid government-issued photo ID (passport, national ID or driving licence).
  • Proof of address — a recent utility bill or bank statement (typically less than three months old).
  • Proof of payment method — for example, a redacted card image or e-wallet screenshot.
  • Source of funds or wealth information for larger or unusual transactions.

3. Customer due diligence

We apply standard due diligence to all customers and enhanced due diligence to higher-risk customers, including politically exposed persons (PEPs) and those whose activity or geography presents greater risk. Verification must be completed before withdrawals are released, and play may be restricted until checks are passed.

4. Transaction monitoring

  • Deposits and withdrawals are monitored on an ongoing basis for unusual patterns.
  • Withdrawals are, wherever possible, returned to the original deposit method to deter third-party funding.
  • Customers may not use Wazbii as a means of transferring funds; minimal-play deposit/withdrawal cycles may be investigated.
  • Cash, anonymous instruments and third-party payments are not accepted.

5. Reporting & record keeping

Where activity is suspicious, our Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO) may file a report with the relevant authorities and is not permitted to "tip off" the customer. Identity and transaction records are retained for the period required by law (typically at least five years after the relationship ends).

6. Sanctions & restricted persons

We screen customers against applicable sanctions lists. We do not knowingly provide services to sanctioned individuals or to persons in prohibited jurisdictions.

7. Account freezing & closure

We may suspend or freeze an account, withhold funds or close an account where we have reasonable grounds to suspect money laundering, fraud, or a breach of this policy or our Terms & Conditions, and where required by law.

8. Your obligations

  • Provide accurate, truthful information and genuine documentation.
  • Use only payment methods registered in your own name.
  • Respond promptly to verification requests.
